Project:
A full rebrand, including the logo, tradeshow collateral, sell sheets, and business cards for Avant Décor, which specializes in ceiling draping and lighting for weddings and events. It is a woman-owned business, and the original brand had been designed in 2004.

Challenge:
Avant Décor uses traditional postcards and business cards to reach out to potential clients – brides and grooms – at tradeshow events. The challenge was to make them pop in a sea of similar tactics.

Solution:
In addition to a new logo, we created a business card that holds the swatch of the fabric the bride or groom is interested in – a memorable reminder of their visit to the Avant booth – along with notes from their visit. On the postcards, we strayed away from the typical paragraphs of descriptive positioning in favor of telling their story through bold infographics, color, and images of their work. Starburst accents in the logo change color to match the color scheme presented in the postcard’s image.
